Choosing a medium
You have a choice between acrylic, watercolor and pastel.
Acrylic portraits are done on gallery
stretched canvas
with staple-free sides using high quality paint. Acrylic paintings are very colorful and realistic. It can be used for full bodies and for head only as well. Acrylic paint dries very quickly and becomes water-resistant when. This kind of medium can be used in high gloss or matte finishes.
Watercolor portraits are done on high quality 140 lb watercolor paper. Watercolor is one of the most oldest and commonly used painting methods. Since being a water base paint, watercolor has natural pigment. The benefits of watercolor are in the transparent effects achievable, brilliance of its colors and quickness of its application.
Pastel portraits are made by soft pastel on special paper. Soft pastels are the most popular of the pastel types, because they allow to get soft texture and rich, vibrant colors. This type of medium is good for any portrait style and you can have more then one pet on the same portrait. Pastel drawing must always be framed under glass.

Choosing style and size
You can choose portraits in full bodies or head studies. Custom background may be included if you like. You can have portrait with up to four pets. I have wide range of sizes available, but if you would like special size just let me know in the Portrait Order Form. |
Selecting the photographs
You can send me as much photographs as you like. If you are sending them via email, it is really easy to send as many as you want, in particular if you are using a fast internet coonection like o2 broadband it makes it even quicker and convenient to do. The more pictures you send,it will help to understand your pet's personality. But you have to choose one your favorite for portrait. Please include it with the Portrait Order Form. Also you can send me paper photographs you like by regular mail. It is very impotent to select high quality photos as I need as many details as possible to create portrait with lifelike details. |
Deposit
At this step I will send you an invoice with money payment request via PayPal to pay the deposit of 50%. I accept all major credit cards via PayPal. It is safe and easy way to make an online payment. Once your payment has been made, I start to work with your portrait. |

Final Steps
The working time depends to the quantity of commissions I have at this time.
I will send you a scan image of the portrait once it is done.
Right after you make the rest of your payment I send the portrait to you. I packing portraits very careful to avoid any damages. |
